شو في نيوز - افتتحت السفارة السويسرية لدى الأردن والعراق بالاشتراك مع اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر معرض ”حوارات حول الإنسانية“ بمناسبة الذكرى الخامسة والسبعين لاتفاقيات جنيف لعام 1949.
جذب الحدث الذي أقيم في المتحف الوطني الأردني للفنون الجميلة في 13 حزيران/يونيو 2024، مجموعة متنوعة من الحضور، بما في ذلك مسؤولون حكوميون، أصحاب المصلحة في المجال الإنساني وطلاب الجامعات وممثلين عن المجتمع المدني والحكومة والمجتمع الدبلوماسي والمنظمات المحلية والدولية والفنانين ووسائل الإعلام.
وقامت الوزارة الخارجية السويسرية مع متحف التصوير الفوتوغرافي الإليزيه في لوزان، سويسرا واللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر بإنتاج معرض ”حوارات حول الإنسانية“. ويوضح معرض الصور الفوتوغرافية الموضوعات والمواقف التي نواجها كل يوم، والتي لها صلة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة بالمبادئ الإنسانية لاتفاقيات جنيف. وتهدف الصور الفوتوغرافية إلى منح الزائر فهماً أفضل ورؤية أعمق لأهمية وتأثير هذه المبادئ - الإنسانية والنزاهة والحياد والاستقلالية.
والهدف من هذا المعرض ليس فقط الاحتفال بالذكرى الخامسة والسبعين لاتفاقيات جنيف لعام 1949، بل أيضاً التركيز على المسؤولية المشتركة لضمان احترامها وتنفيذها.
كجزء من احتفالات الذكرى الخامسة والسبعين، تستضيف اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر والسفارة السويسرية سلسلة من المبادرات ومنهم عرضاً للفيلم الوثائقي السويسري ”سجناء المصير“ من إخراج مهدي صاحبي في الهيئة الملكية للأفلام يوم 30 يونيو/حزيران. كما ستُعقد حلقة نقاش حول التحديات الحالية للقانون الدولي الإنساني في المتحف الوطني الأردني للفنون الجميلة في 3 تموز/يوليو.
سيستمر المعرض ثلاثة أسابيع وسيكون مفتوحاً للجميع من 14 يونيو إلى 7 يوليو. الزائرون مدعوون للتفكير النقدي في المبادئ الإنسانية وأهميتها، ومشاركة وجهات نظرهم وأفكارهم وآرائهم حول مختلف المواضيع.
كما تحتفل السفارة السويسرية هذا العام بذكرى سنوية أخرى وهي مرور 75 عاماً على العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين الأردن وسويسرا والتي تتسم بالاحترام المتبادل والتعاون والصداقة.
Switzerland Highlights Humanitarian Principles through a Photo Exhibition
The Embassy of Switzerland to Jordan and Iraq and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) jointly inaugurated the exhibition ‘Dialogues On Humanity’ on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the 1949 Geneva Conventions.
The launch event, which took place at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts on 13 June 2024, brought together stakeholders in humanitarian operations, university students, representatives from civil society, government, the diplomatic community, local and international organisations, artists and media.
The Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Photo Elysée, museum for photography in Lausanne and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) produced the Dialogues on Humanity exhibition. The photo exhibition illustrates themes and situations we encounter every day, which have a direct or indirect link to the Geneva Conventions’ humanitarian principles. The photographs aim to give the visitor a better understanding of and a deeper insight into the significance and impact of these principles - humanity, impartiality, neutrality and independence.
With this exhibition, the goal is not only to mark the 75th anniversary of the 1949 Geneva Conventions but also to put the focus on the indisputable relevance of this “one set of rules we all agree on” and the common responsibility to ensure that it is respected and implemented.
As side events, together with the ICRC, the Embassy is organizing a film screening of the Swiss documentary “Prisoners of Fate” directed by Mehdi Sahebi at the Royal Film Commission outdoor cinema on 30 June. There will also be a panel discussion on current challenges to International Humanitarian Law at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, on 3 July.
The three-week long exhibition will be open to the public from 14 June to 7 July. Visitors are invited to critically reflect on the humanitarian principles and their significance, and to share their views, thoughts and opinions on the different themes.
The Swiss Embassy is also celebrating another anniversary this year, 75 years of bilateral relations between Jordan and Switzerland which is marked by mutual respect, collaboration, and friendship.
